Alexander & Hoover Sponsor Second Annual 5K RUN for Reading at South Seas Island Resort

Alexander & Hoover, P.A., Certified Public Accountants, is pleased to be one of 11 sponsors of the Second Annual RUN for Reading weekend to benefit Literacy Volunteers of Lee County (LVLC) to be held at the beautiful South Seas Island Resort located at the north end of Captiva Island, FL. A 5K Run/Walk will be held on Saturday, October 23rd and another 5K Run/Walk will be combined with an Aquathlon in the warm waters of the Gulf of Mexico on Sunday, October 24th. About 250 athletes are expected to be participating this year.

Specially reduced room rates at the South Seas Island Resort begin at $125/night for a one-bedroom villa. Two and three bedroom villas are available at a slightly higher, yet still, discounted special rate. These rates are valid only for October 22 – 24, 2010. The Literacy Volunteers of Lee County, Florida is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit agency that has been providing free adult literacy programs in Lee County, FL since 1989.
