Michele M. Hoover, CPA Named to Board of Directors of Literacy Volunteers of Lee County

Michele M. Hoover, CPA, managing partner in the accounting firm of Alexander & Hoover, P.A. has been elected to the Board of Directors of the Literacy Volunteers of Lee County as its Treasurer.  Literacy Volunteers of Lee County is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit agency that provides literacy programs to adults who want to learn to read and write English. She’s been an active contributor at Literacy Volunteers and at Shell Point Retirement Community, where she provides services and does QuickBooks® training.

Ms. Hoover joined Alisa Alexander, CPA and formed Alexander & Hoover, P.A. in March 2009.  She was formerly with Walthall, Drake & Wallace LLP in Cleveland, Ohio.  She has a BA from Cleveland State University and over 20 years of business experience.  The firm offers diversified accounting services, specializing in small business accounting and tax preparation, trusts and estate tax returns, and QuickBooks consulting.  Ms. Hoover is an experienced QuickBooks Certified Pro Advisor and teaches Mastering QuickBooks® from Real World Training, the only Intuit endorsed instruction program in the United States.
